At Neve Hanna Children's Home
The road to knowledge begins with the turn of a page

Thanks to YOU, our children will gain a love of reading that opens up doors to a world of possibilities! The sky will be the limit!

The Neve Hanna Library fosters a love of reading and study, provides a new kind of vocational training, instills interpersonal skills, and inspires the pursuit of higher education.

The Library serves as an educational project and a self-support project. Professional Librarian, Judith Preger-Reshef, supervises and educates the children and offers on-the-job training for our teens, giving them the education, experience, and job skills to pursue a career in Library Science. Under the tutelage of Judith Preger-Reshef, they’ll learn to care for and catalog books and what it takes to become librarians themselves.

We welcome gifts of any size. You may donate, for example, two books for $36 or 100 books for $1800, or a portion or all of any of the gift opportunities listed below.

We want to inform you about a change, in NEVE HANNA's daily life that YOU helped to implement: The Library.

More and more children come in almost weekly to bring back a book and to take a new one out. Recently, we launched our English and Arabic book section, attracting the first teenagers of NEVE HANNA to try to master reading an English book and also including our Muslim-Bedouin children from the “Path to Peace”.
